What is Tinkergarten?
Designed by experts, loved by teachers, parents and kids, Tinkergarten gets kids learning outside. Kids who participate get the physical and mental benefits of increased time outdoors and build a lasting connection to nature. They also develop a strong foundation in 8 essential skills that kids need to become creative, caring and confident people who can thrive in a dynamic world.
Our nature based enrichment program, designed by experts, focuses on child-led learning experiences.
Each season, our program focuses on one of 8 essential skills (including Problem Solving, Empathy, Communication, Focus, Persistence, Creativity, Sensory, and Wellness)
Each class includes songs, stories, movement, exploration, and PLAY.
About Purposeful Play
Purposeful Play is a mom-owned business aimed at helping families connect to nature and helping kids to become curious, capable learners who can contribute to their world. Owner, Lynda Sharp has been leading Tinkergarten classes in local parks & green spaces for over 7 years.
